I think the biggest concern is that if he comes back 100% and if he never gets hurt again in his career, how effective will their offense be with a non-running RG3?

RG3 tore his ACL in college, and still was very mobile.

He might lose a step, but I think his mobility won't ALL be gone with this injury.

To your point, I think they will still keep read option plays in the playbook, but not use them as extensively as they did this season.

Remember, RG3 is a rookie. Hes gonna get better at reading defenses. I honestly don't think they will completely change their offense because of this.

6-8 months seems quick. He's 22, the redskins should resist the urge to bring him back so quickly.

I wouldn't abandon the read option just scale it back.

He's got top tier down the field passing accuracy. Posts, corners, seam throws off play action, etc. Get the guy a big smart tight end who can catch passes in middle of field.

HGH FTW!!! They isolate peptides now strictly for healing. Cuts recovery time at least in half.

It sounds like the operation is not a 100% he will be back healthy.

If you omit smart, he has that in Fred Davis. Seriously the dude is a stud, just not sure he'll ever make it 16 games.

Way to go Shanahan for "following the doctors recommendations". The same doctor on record saying he was scared shitless for RGIII.
