Didn't Garrison Hearst put up like 1400 at UGA with a partial ACL tear? I seem to remember something like that, but I can't remember how long or when exactly he played with that tear.

wtf is this? It's not bowel cancer, it's a semi-serious knee injury in 2013.
At worst he misses a season.
He does his rehab he'll be completely fine, quit being dumb.

If RG keeps running like he does he won't make 5 years in the league. He better learn to stay in the pocket or slide around to buy himself time.

I'd be willing to bet they were damaged/sprained prior to that play. Knee looked lax before and he had that large brace. Knee buckled ridiculously easy on the injury play.

Very surprised it was the LCL by looking at the video because it appears his knee goes medial and puts stress on the MCL.

Given the degree of swelling his knee undoubtedly has, he must have some intact segment of his ACL graft or it should be pretty clear cut on his MRI that he has a new, full thickness tear of the graft. That's the good news.
The bad news, it's always more challenging to repair a knee once a graft has been placed. It's obviously entirely possible if he needs another surgery, he could come back as good, not better than before. However, it's NOT accurate to assume because it's "only an ACL" that he will follow nearly the same course as A.P. - it's the possible additional injuries, altered mechanics, possible cartilage/ meniscus damage, etc. that can, and have many other times, altered a player's career and productivity.
Without seeing the scan, this is obviously guesswork. Andrews is the best, Griff is a world class athlete and if necessary, I'm sure he will rehab the hell out of it. That said, this sucks big time and well may impact his career.

That doesn't seem to be the case. His knee was visibly unstable.

Plus, removing his running game is going to put a ton of pressure on their rushing game and his passing game. We have no idea what kind of offense the Redskins have without RG3 being able to run.

If that happens, and he only "sprains" something, lets hope that Washington is smarter in that case to take him out for a few weeks to heal, rather than rush him back and risk injury.

I think the biggest concern is that if he comes back 100% and if he never gets hurt again in his career, how effective will their offense be with a non-running RG3? That is the big question. His running ability and the designed runs were a huge reason that the running game and passing games flourished. If you remove the read option, how effective is Morris now? And, how effective is the play action pass if the defense knows that RG3 is not going to take off and run?
