I ended up going to Pappa's. The service was very cordial. The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait, very hot and fresh. I got the three wings, along with mashed potatoes and "spaghetti and cheese" (mac'n cheese) with a sweet tea. It might have been the best fried chicken I've ever had, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. My only letdown was their excuse for macaroni. It wasn't necessarily nasty or anything, but nothing to brag about; could have been much cheesier. Just bland, really.
the sweet tea was excellent also. I will definitely make a return trip sometime.

People may not consider this soul food in the truest sense of the word, but Zealand.

Smothered everything. Pork chops, chicken, turkey.
Fried chicken, Ribs, typical dishes
All the typical sides as well.
You'll be ok
If you trying to do a quick lunch, I would get a fried fish sandwich.

Awesome food! Huge quantities, you'll have leftovers. Last I went, I had baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and roll.
Its safe. Besides the Obama picture on the wall, they were superrrr friendly and come out of the kitchen to ask how it is!
