The under ticket would be why i would go, but that list is seriously meh for me. I have seen all of them but green day (no interest), daft punk (meh) and the stones (mild interest).

even if that list were true (it isn't), it would be no better than 2010 Voodoo. and it would probably rank below the past few Jazz Fests...depending on the rest of the ticket, of course.

NIN is on hiatus until after the compilation album.

Trent has been focusing on scoring movies and How To Destroy Angels.

I guess he might fire back up NIN sooner than I thought if this is true.

He may do shows here and there. He's just said that he's never touring NIN again.

he's also collaborating with Dr Dre and Beats for a new music streaming service with supposedly better filters for suggesting music than pandora and spotify

Meh, Neil Young > Rolling Stones

NIN has already played Voodoo with QOTSA, who I'd put above anyone in this list.

Green Day was scheduled to play Voodoo.
I am on the fence about Young and RS.

I was there when NIN last played... bon temps. QOTSA I have never seen... hope they do Voodoo this year with their new release and all.

Frick Green Day with a grapefruit spoon in the eyes.

You can still have a pretty good time, but these big ones are starting to annoy me. I thought Forecastle in Louisville had the best lineup for rock fans of any fest last year, and no one really talked about it.

It seems to be the same formula for all of the big ones. Get some outdated headliners that you know a bunch of dumb schmucks living in mainstream lallaland will buy tickets. Then try to fill the undercard with the good bands of this time to reel in the real music fans. I just wish these festivals had more balls, and it seems they're getting less and less balzy with headliner selections.

QOTSA

They played the year of Katrina. The festival was moved to Memphis, but NIN and QOTSA insisted on playing a free show in NOLA for the responders. It was a great show. I wish I could have seen them with Nick on bass, but that's on him. Dude's a cockbag.

I wish they would make this happen. Throw in Husker Du with them while we're at it.

The replacements are releasing an EP this year to help Slim was some health issues.

It's just Paul and Tommy, Chris chose not to participate. It's a good start... But, w/o Bob... It'll never be the same

I heard on the radio yesterday that Daft Punk has come out and said they will not be touring at all in 2013.
