I think the deal is already done. Both sides just waiting until the timing is right .

Yeah, like about 12-14 hours after he hoists his third crystal ball in four years.

If Bama pays Saban $10 mil per that is in-fricking-sane.

Wont happen, but I could see $7M easily. That's about a $1.5M raise. Bama football profited approximately $45M last year. Giving all the coaches raises that account for approx $2.5M would not dramatically shrink that margin.

Kelly is a poor fit for the NFL. His fast scheme is legit, but not the offense he runs. He would have his QB killed within the 1st 6 weeks of the season. RG3 was banged up twice this year at QB and Shanahan didn't run him as much as Chip Kelly would be running his NFL QB.

I think they were just biding time until after tonight's game.

Saban smiling on the field?!?

He's going to Cleveland since its the only time in his career that he smiled on the sidelines.

He wants to feel that 'feeling' again..

I'll probably get blasted for this, but here's a question regarding this situtation (Saban related)...why hasn't Kirby Smart, who seems to be a hot name for HC positions, not interviewed or received any HC coaching position offers? Could it be...well...you know the rest?????

He interviewed for the Auburn job this year and OM last year.

Keep wishing

Whatever Sparky.

In case you're unfamiliar with that term, it simply means I don't have enough respect for you to tell to go f**k yourself, so I'll tell you "whatever" instead. So you keep pretending you're someone important and "in the know" and I'll continue to coauthor software that I'm sure is on your computer so I can make money to make similar trips like I just made to Miami.
