Playing close and winning in the 4th against Towson, La Tech, Troy, Washington, ASU, N. Car and Clemson; firstly doesnt always work, and secondly, makes you look weak.
LT was on your boy's 30% CR,
Troy was come from behind, not clinging, Udub '09 was not a good LSU team,
UNC '10 was a D fail with O scoring 40+ pts into 4th,
Clemson was an execution failure, and if passes were on target and protect assigns picked up, would've been a blowout.
Games may end up close, but if you know a bit about FB, you know it wasn't planned this way.

Still, your argument has no factual basis seeing as 50% of his teams have been top 10 in MoV.

What are you talking about?

It happened once (2011) since our BCS championship. And even that year, he benched the most efficient QB.

His point doesn't have to be backed up by a cute stat that he just learned. What he's trying to point out to you won't be on a stat sheet. I don't know why he keeps wasting his time arguing with you, you'll never get the point

Because he doesn't want to.

That's what I'm saying. It's like trying to explain to a girl how to do any kind of manual labor, while you're explaining it to them they're daydreaming about clothes and fingernail polish, because they don't want to hear it. Same thing with this guy, you're wasting your time

Why is it always since '07 with haters? Like no football was played prior?
The "most efficient" QB didn't work so well vs pressure and the #2 actually led the O to the best 3 game MoV stretch in LSU history, a perfect pass game, and lopsided W in SECCG, so can't fault the decision.
It's no use to hate Les for JL's limitations.
I like Lee and all, but it is, what it is.

Is that laundry list of reasons for losses and near losses individual events or is there a larger theme that might tie them together?

#2 went to shite in his last two games. There was ample reason to make a change.

Change only worked in one direction on that one, but I know that you already knew that Roger.

I think the coaches call it "not doing anything to hurt themselves"

Yep, pull number one after a couple of drives but if anyone saw that abortion of an offense during the last two games and think it was OK to let it keep running, they are beyond help.

Mayhaw sees things as he wants to see them, not as they are.

OK, ya got me. Now I know you've been trolling us. Cuz no way in hell, ANYONE, can say JJ led us with 5/13 for 30 yds; and 6 carries for -5 yards

No, he believes that crap.

He is 100% sold out to #2 only because he associates him with Miles and his choices.

Yep, no way it was due to JL shitting the bed in previous attempt(s), and Mett's obvious unpreparedness to face elite Ds.
And I question not bringing Mett along during all the '11 blowouts btw.

But back to OT, what does this have to do with MoV?
Seems all are reaching for any dis they can come up with and ignoring the OP.

Did you actually watch the SECCG? If you did, there is no way in hell you could believe what you believe.

No way in hell I think the score could have been much more lopsided.
Could have been pic 6s other way or many other malfunctions, and it's all hypo.

We beat the #5 defense in nation, Georgia, by 30 points and thats went to shite?

I know you Lee lovers got butt hurt when your boy got sat down after crapping in his pants against Alabama AGAIN, but Lee played scared when he got pressure and when you play the #5 and then play the #1 defense you don't want a scared QB.

If that's your response, you didn't watch the game.

Whoa there jack. Not a "Lee lover." I feel he got a raw deal but both QB's did. Neither were feature full time QB's and should have been used situationally as they were in 2010 when JJ struggled.

Well, you clearly have established that you can't be unbaised.

Like JJ did in the SECCG and the NCG??? At some point you have to swallow your pride and stop being stubborn. This is a Les Miles trademark.

The Les Miles fan club has no problem shitting on players to support their unnatural love for the coach.

Both QB's weren't treated fairly. I will bet JJ would have had no problem stepping aside in that final game, instead he is the fall guy.

Sometimes you have to counter the D with the best option available.
No way Lee would've held up against that D on 1-9-12. Sorry if you think it may have mattered, but the game was lost at LOS.
