Once you get a cushy TV job, coaching seems way less appealing.

Like Dungy, I'd be surprised if he gets back into coaching again anytime soon if ever because of the stuff that's gone on with his family.

He's been out of the game for so long now I doubt he ever decides to go back. I think he's comfortable where he's at.

I know last year he wanted to pick his GM and around $8 million. I don't think it was the price as much as the GM part. I'm pretty sure all his daughters are done playing basketball so the family part shouldn't be as big of a deal, he probably just enjoys the TV lifestyle.

I feel like this is true after 4-5 years. Some have gone into commentating and then went back to coaching after 1-2 years. But you don't see many go back to coaching after commentating for a longer period of time.
