Hmmm..well damn assholes. I feel like my system of downloading music is pretty sound, but you do have a good argument.

Yep. any song or album or artist has a button on it that instantly createsa radio stationfor it just like Pandora. and you can skip as much as you want, no ads, and save the songs you like.
They have a "like" and dislike button, if you click like it will automatically put that song in a playlist and make the station more fitted to the types of songs you are liking

Best 10 bucks i spend a month.
I just wish i could get more of my friends to do it because i havent been able to use the sharing part of it but i wanna try that out
Problem is most of my friends are cheap asses like the other guy in this thread
I have a feeling Spotify will be a pretty huge social media type thing soon enough though.

y'all have sold me, you should get a cut of their profits 
just to double, triple check though. What I typed above about the memory/GB is correct, right? all the music is stored in your spotify app, so it doesn't take up any memory on your phone.

I think you can send and recieve songs from other spotify users. they get sent to your inbox
It could be fun with a group of people you have similar taste in music with. Or if they changed up some of the privacy settings or let you create another account, it would be cool to have people from this board to share with. But I dont think that would work the way it is right now

Yea mine as well. Which is the only negative of spotify for me. I REALLY didnt want to link it to my FB.

I just got it like a week ago. So I'm pretty sure you have to link it your Facebook. If its not necessary then they hide that fact.

You don't need Facebook to have Spotify. I don't have a FB account and it let me get a membership. This is the best $10 per month I've ever spent.
Who ever is thinking about getting Spotify, get it. It makes Pandora seem obsolete. I play it in my car through my USB port everyday plus you get the full albums from each artist.

The only other way I've listened to music since getting spotify is panicstream.com and that's only because you can't get those live shows on spotify
