Joe Webb shows....

why having a quality back up is important. This guy is horrible. A running QB is fine but if you can't throw, and Webb can't, then you can't play QB.

I'd rather Richmond Webb or Spud Webb start at QB if I were the Vikings.

He looked better last season when he had more than a couple days getting reps with the starters.

To be honest, I was shocked to hear he was the backup behind Ponder. I figured they would have grabbed another QB just in case.

And Tony Dungy was saying before the game that he liked what Webb was going to bring to the Vikings' offense tonight.

Did you follow Tony Dungy's career when he was with the Bucs? He knows absolutely nothing about evaluating QB play in the NFL.

if they had grabbed a better QB he'd probably be starting ahead of Ponder
