Here's a look at all of the QBs Miles has recruited. With the jury still out on Mett, Rivers, and Randall, I won't include them in the list below. Not one success story. What needs to happen under Miles' reign for this to change?

Ryan Perriloux: Dismissed from program.
Jordan Jefferson: Enough said.
Jarrett Lee: Enough said
Russell Shepard: Switched positions and underachieved.
Chris Garrett: Dismissed from program.
Zach Lee: Signed MLB contract when everyone but Miles knew this would happen.
Gunner Kiel: Decommitted. Signed with Notre Dame
Jeremy Liggins: Community College then Ole Miss

I omitted him because he was originally a Saban recruit but I'll add him.

Miles is still a pretty good coach yes he has his moments but with that being said He is also a QB killer. Jordan Jefferson was a beast in high school there was no reason why he should have not been a great QB at LSU besides the fact under miles they suck at developing QBs

I don't think that's 100% accurate. Dude enrolled in school. His was more like Gunner Kiel. I don't put that on Les.

qb is an extremely difficult position...look at supposed QB guru Steve Spurrier's success rate over the years.

Well that isn't true at all. Not sure how a player acting stupid and getting kicked off the team is a coaching blunder either.

I think J.Lee was recruited by Fisher but still came although Jimbo had left.

Miles also had JaMarcus the last two years he was the official starter and he went no1 overall, had Matt Flynn the highest paid backup in the league and if RP was so dumb, he would have gone off in 08 and possibly 09 allowing Lee and Jefferson to learn and not develop their respective stigmas, and so on. Miles though could stop playing Schlembechler or whatever style 3yds and a cloud of dust football also.

I really wish people wouldhave to pass some srt of test before they are allowed to post.

RP was highly recruited by other schools, so getting him to LSU was the right thing. It isn't Miles fault he never got past his Narcissitic personality. His own actions led to him being kicked off team.

JJ - No...not enuff said. Frankly, JJ simply was not consistent. he had good stretches. Frankly, I would take him over Mett right now.

Jarrett Lee - Just a different side of the same JJ coin.

RShep10 - How many times do people have to say this? It was said from the first few practices when he first got to campus. THE KID CANNOT THROW. He is not a QB. He could not adapt his HS God-like talent to the college game. J. Russell was a GREAT college QB, but his talents did not translate to the NFL. It happens....but yknow what? Everyone wanted him and everyone would've given him the same shot Les did. No, he would not have been a "Star" at Oregon. He cannot throw...he cannot catch ...and he weighs as much as my dirty laundry bag..meaning the first guy that touches him has him on the ground. Hell, maybe they should've tried him at kicker...I dunno.

Garrett - Geez....forgot all about this guy. Don't even rememberwhat his deal was. Didn't his Dad have a lot to do with him leaving?

Zach Lee - What was this kid supposed to do? Not go on with his life n the hope that pro ball would come wave big bucks in his face? That is the kind of ghetto basketball mentality that has ruined the sport. No, the kid enrolled in college and had a plan to play QB for LSU. The Dodgers just went nuts with the freaking Powerball money offer. The kid was highly recruited and this would have happened to any school that he went to and many wanted him.

Keil - Hey....Mama's boy gonna Mama's boy. Again, everyone was after this kid. Is it les' fault that Mama cried and cried and cried until the kid just had to stay home? No. Sometimes Mama tries to help ya ( Landon Collins) and sometimes mama screws ya. Not Les' fault....I kinda agree...the kid didn't have the chest.

Liggins - Good kid....other chools wanted him too. Unfortunately, you gotta be kinda smart to go to college. IF not you go to Jr College. Again....Not Les' fault.

He has time and time again gotten good QB recruits to LSU. Players others schools wanted.....but there is never a gaurantee they will pan out. This year we have the No.5 Pro-Style QB and the No.5 Dual Threat QB coming in. Maybe that long wished for savior will be one of them.

I know everyone thinks that we are long overdue for that blonde haired blue eyed Gof who will lead us to back to back National Chamionships while winning the Heisman. Hell, I know I do....that is gonna be fun to watch. Admit it....we are all a little jealous of JFF because we wish we had that guy.....that is the guy we have been waiting on for decades. Well, they don't come long but once or twice in a fan's lifetime. Get over it....have fun. Enjoy the good quality players we get.

So freakin over this board

Crappy post is crappy. I'm not a Les defender or sunshine pumper, but you can't blame Les for most of those. Almost every one of those guys was a highly rated prospect and were recruited by multiple schools.

And Chris Garrett go friggin' morbidly obese, IIRC. He clearly didn't have the commitment and drive to do what was necessary to compete for a starting spot, so the dude needed to be cut.
