2 years of .290+ BA and 22+ Hr in AAA seems like he would have gotten a call up by now.

Maybe he watched the World Baseball Classic and was tired of dealing with MLB losers.
FWIW, the 2013 WBC will be played from March 2-19 this year, with the finals to be held in San Francisco.
Seriously, though, Matt Clark is one my favorite LSU baseball players ever. Probably top 5 to be honest.

Because he's limited in what positions he can play and there were lots of guys ahead of him. I'm surprised he didn't get traded to another MLB team, actually.

Dean, Gibbs, and Clark 3 bombs in row to KO Cal-Irvine in the first inning of Game 3.
