Nowhere near the same coach. His whole approach is pinned on Chavis and the defense.

our defense was great those years as well

and away we go. still refuse to give credit to Miles for anything

We have all given credit for beating A&M. You must love underachieving offense every year.

It almost looks like the A&M offense is having fun.

that can't be right. Miles was the coach in '06

And still found a way to limit the offense in the Auburn and Florida games and frick up a dream season that could have been. That that 06 team didn't win a National Championship is an absolute travesty.

LSU was 87th in ypg at 374.2 per

ND was 48th at 421.3/game

Alabama was 38th at 439.3/game

I'm happier with scoring more points, which Bama did do more of than LSU but not ND.

the results against TAMU don't matter. our D won that game. nobody is saying to downgrade our D

How many three-and-outs did our "o" have against ATM? Wasn't it nine?

I'm happier with scoring more points,

skewed stat dependent on luck and field position

yards show you how your offense moves the ball. if you move the ball well, you'll score. it removes luck and outliers from the scenario and gives you a much better sample of how well your offense does its job (moving the ball forward)

Flynn might have been recruited by Saban but he most definitely Miles' QB

Just for the record, I am pro Miles but I would like to see the offense improve. I just don't think it warrants the absolute fricking meltdown we've witnesses on here.

Baaed on what? Certainly not ppg.

Less than 3 pts per game separate the two. Scoring isn't all a product of offense.

ND outgained LSU both rushing and passing/ I threw out ND because so many people claimed they didn't have a chance vs Bama because of their shitty offense, yet it produced more yds than LSU
