Watching the Cotton bowl. Why would you NOT want a dual threat qb?? Why would you choose a pro style with cement feet?? Just because you have a dual threat doesn't mean you have to run a spread.

I mean look at the options you have. I just don't see the problem. Someone mentioned Manning. Well you have to have a stout oline for manning.

Well, Manziel just won the Heisman. He is also dual threat. Who said we wouldn't want a dual threat that could win the HEISMAN?

They didn't know Manziel would win it. Duh. Would Miles gamble on a Manziel type? Just asking not hating.

Because, for the most part, dual threat means fast short guy with a pretty good arm. In an era of down field passing and 6'7" d-linemen that is a shite recipe. It's not like every dual threat qb in the country is Newton, Griffin, Manziel.

Yes, but this is SEC and you run the risk of getting hurt. Someone with JJ or Tebow or CN body style can take those hits. LSU would never recruit Johnny Football or Bridgewater (Louisville QB)cause they are not built that way.

Apparently he was interested in LSU, and LSU didn't want him as a QB.
