Look, I'm not happy about all these NFL defections, but it's time to just frickin deal with it. I trust Chavis will have our group ready. We may be a little thin depth wise but were going to field some quality athletes. I hope we are picked 3rd in our Division. This will take the bullseye off our back and light a fire with this team which is needed. We need to play with a chip on our shoulder with something to prove. We've become complacent. I like the new blood and I think Miles will address the O off-season. I'm tired of thinking negative.

Exactly. Everyone thought Bama would be down due to all that they lost on D. They reloaded. LSU is a program that reloads on defense.

I think for the D it will be a "down" year, as in not top-10, but we will still be pretty good on D. Hard to have a bad defensive season with Chavis + TONS of talent.. they're just young.

I'm actually SUPER excited for the 2014 season, honestly. We've got some guys coming in this year that are going to be experienced and ready to dominate.

This season, though, I think we'll see some great play from the Jalens. Particularly Mills. Emergence of our next top DB?

losing 2/4 starters in the secondary, our only impact LB, and 3/4 starting DL (and our only speed rusher) is going to hurt

we're getting hit hard on all 3 levels and losing guys that we don't have the talent to replace in 2013

Will probably suck hard like we did when we lost Nevis, Sheppard, and PP7.

Or after we lost TM7, Mo, Brandon Taylor, ad Brockers

Oh gosh, we should prepare our anus for sure. Lets not even play football next year. Tear down the stadium. Its over man.

How do you know this? Guys step up all the time. And weve had some great recruiting classes during the past 2-3 years. Those guys have talent obviously.

Or are you going to tell me how you knew all those young guys would be so good in 2010? Or in 2011?

Time will tell. We have some easy wins on the front end to try to gel with a decent test to open the season. My guess is Chavis doesn't think we're fricked. We've got athletes in house and on the recruiting board that can get coached up. LSU will be competitive.

well i am assuming the offense will be a dumpster fire again next year.

so to be decent we need an elite defense.

add the tough schedule into the mix and next season might be even worse than 08.

especially up front. if Freak Johnson doesnt really shine, it's going to be a long year. it's a mass exodus we haven't seen before.

sticking to my 9-3 record next year. 5-3 in conference

We have young talented Linebackers for days (got a big commitment from one today actually) it will be tough for sure but we have the talent and ability to replace him

We have a couple young DEs that are good pass rushers. Obviously they are athletic freaks like Mingo but not many do.

Every season we have guys that make you go "who is that". I dont see how anyone thinks that wont happen again.

The whole "we dont have the talent to replace" anyone is a joke. Especially on defense.
