Former Cat QB Andre Woodson, who was a GA at UK under Joker, has taken a WR coach position at Morehead State. LINK
There's also some talk that Kentucky could fill out it's staff with recently fired FIU coach Mario Cristobal. Just strictly Twitter rumor right now though.

Cristobal would be a fantastic hire.
Woodson looks like he's trying to move up the ladder and could be a guy to keep an eye on in the future.

Agreed on both. I hate to lose Woodson but I have a feeling he'll end up back at Kentucky at some point or another. From all I heard he was one of the bright spots on staff the past couple years.
And Cristobal would be a coup. Between him and Eliot that would give us some pretty strong Florida ties. Stoops is already dipping into Ohio. Neal Brown and Co. have some Texas and Kentucky ties. I'm really excited about this staff right now.

That would be great for UK. That's one of the reasons U of L has been so successful this year. They 30 something players from Florida.

I know, I was kind of hoping that he would get the promotion with the extra spot we had on the offensive staff.
I was glad he was retained as a GA, but I wish Stoops would've took a chance on him as a full staff member. I know Stoops wants a proven item with the job he has ahead of him.
But Woodson was one of our brightest stars. Hope his stay at Morehead is short and he comes back to UK quickly.

Him going to Morehead will allow him to get out on the recruiting trail, which he couldn't do as a GA. He gets a start on establishing relationships in state. He's basically setting himself up for a return later on, but with better experience.
We had an OL do the same thing, he's now the OL coach at Grambling, but was a great GA for us. Ben Wilkerson. I can see him back at LSU at some point.

I hate to see Woodson go, but I agree that it's an opportunity to do things he can't do as a GA. If UK gets Cristobal, wow.....

If you remember, Cristobal was responsible for beating UofL a couple of years ago. (Sorry for bashing UofL (your alma mater) Belle) but if true would be a huge hire. I think he would be a great addition to the staff and would help our recruiting base in FL.

Several national coaching search websites reported on Tuesday night that Kentucky has hired former Tennessee cornerbacks coach Derrick Ansley for the same position in Lexington.

Also, Cristobal took a position job at Miami. Sucks because I wanted him something awful.
