Hunter Paniagua?@HunterPaniagua

From @BrianDohnScout, 2013 CB David Kamara, HS teammate of Robert Nkemdiche, has scheduled an OV to LSU LINK

this is the same kid that was a Clemson commit but decommited with RN....

So reading b/w the lines on this, maybe RN is def in play, although we may have to sign Kamara to get him

Just passing it along

We will not sign this kid just to get Nkemdiche.

if this is the case, not worth it.
we're not clemson. we do our own thing and dont get bossed around by 18 year olds.

He's also scheduled for an OV to Ole Miss in late January and has a scholarship offer from them. I have a hard time believing that LSU will offer him a 2013 spot just to land Nkemdiche unless the staff isn't confident on some other top prospects.

I would
I'd take him only after RN sends in LOI.

agree, if we are going to sign a cb than we should go after Ellis over this kid

What about the Rueben Randle/DeAngelo Benton situation? IIRC, Rueben wasn't coming unless we cut ties with Benton.

Yea to be fair and to further clarify, we only get bossed around by the fathers of 18 year olds.

I thought it was the other way around and Benton didn't want to come here if RR was signing here? I could be wrong though.

True, but at the same time, if we miss on Willis, I could see us taking him if it helps bring in RN. If he becomes a great player, it's an added bonus, if he doesn't, well we got the #1 player in the nation

Suntiger you do have it wrong. We cut ties with Benton to get RR.

This friend of RN is not a good thing for LSU. If might not carry any weight but it is just as likely that it could be a factor. If it is a factor then it is a lock for ole miss probably.

If I were Les, I would sign Chicken just to get RN. Some of you are clueless on how good this kid is!

And Ole Miss is his current leader as well…..
Why are we pretending that RN is going anywhere other than Ole Miss?

I seem to remember that Eli Rodgers and Teddy Bridgewater wanted to play together, but LSU didn't want or didn't have room for Rodgers.

Looking back...what would you say now?

Exactly. A player like Bridgewater and RN is worth 2 roster spots
