Bagwell/Biggio Leading HOF Candidates?

Baseball Think Factory - 15% of Vote
Never really kept up with voting until this year so I'm not sure if this is an accurate prediction of what's to come or not. I'm actually surprised Biggio isn't a shoe in and that Bagwell has that many votes. As a Stros fan, it would be awesome to see them go in together. Interesting to see Bonds and Clemens under 50%. Again, I don't know if this is an accurate prediction or not.
ETA - Last year they were pretty spot on with Larkin's % and called for him to be the only one to get in.
Last year:
Barry Larkin ----- 86.4% ---> accurate
Jack Morris ----- 66.6% ---> gizmo was 8% too low
Jeff Bagwell ---- 56.0% ---> accurate
Lee Smith ------ 50.6% ---> gizmo was 6% too low
Tim Raines ----- 48.7% ---> 4% too high
Alan Trammell -- 36.8% ---> accurate
Edgar Martínez - 36.5% ---> 4% too low
Fred McGriff --- 23.9% ---> accurate
Larry Walker --- 22.9% ---> 5% too low
Mark McGwire --- 19.5% ---> accurate
Don Mattingly - 17.8% ---> 7% too low
Dale Murphy ---- 14.5% ---> accurate
Rafael Palmeiro -- 12.6% ---> accurate
Bernie Williams -- 9.6% ---> 6% too low
Juan González --- 4.0% ---> 3% too low

I agree no one is getting in, which is absurd given that this is, not to put to fine a point on it, the best ballot since the very first one. The voting procedures clearly need to be changed.

Too many baseball players get into the HOF every year IMO. It's very skewed too as you can have a weaker class some years and a guy who wouldn't have gotten in makes it.

The BBWAA usually elects one player, maybe two. I think they've only elected three players in a year once in the past 25 years.
Now, I think they've been electing clearly inferior players, but that's another issue. The fact is, the ballot has about 15 players on it who aren't just better than the minimum Hall standards, but are better than about half of the players in the entire Hall. It's absurd. If you made a team of "average" Hall of Famers, it would likely lose to the team made from guys on this ballot.

McGriff is way too low. Look at his career numbers. Never link to steroids and no suspision. He was hitting 30-40 homers almost yearly just before the steroid era when that was a ton of homers. He hit 20+ homers in 15 seasons, finished with 493.

Nolan Ryan, George Brett, and one of the Brewers(Yount/Molitor) got in the same year.
