Who knows maybe jl and jj could have developed with a little time to throw. Probably not. They never had time to throw just like what is happening to Mett.

i thought they played fairly well considering the injuries and the whole right side being freshmen. Mett improving his pocket presence would help

Last year, JL was throwing the ball fine and moving the team. We were running the ball well also. Then JJ comes in and the whole thing goes to shite.

This year the O Line did suck I agree.

Clemson defense (mostly young guys) liked how they played too.... Made sacking the QB so much more entertaining.

True but to be fair, on most of the sacks in the bowl game, he had very little time. Our line has played very bad in last two bowl games for sure. Hopefully this improves because I don't see Mett becoming more mobile.

i'd be perfectly fine with starting over with the coaches on the offense side of the ball. we have problems; i only know what i see but LSU is too good of a program and recruits too well to have so many breakdowns on that side of the ball. hell, we can't even run the damn ball in short yardage situations and we certainly can't pass block.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight,

play calling has nothing to do with it right? or sets and formations? yeah running into a stacked box on a consistent basis really works right?

None of that happened.

Like JJ or JL, I don't care but total O production remained pretty much the same no matter who was at QB.

Good post
u wd think going against our defense every day in practice we would learn what to expect and how to get everyone blocked. At least know what to expect. Puzzling. One play against Clemson, Ware was a 3rd option on a little slant right to left and just ran by the guy Alexander was blocking didnt even chuck him. If he chucks him Beckham was breaking open for a critical first down on a simple 12 yd out. Thats inexcusable. It seems we just cant get anyone in a rhythm. But i do think we are very close to being very good on offense but i have said this 2 yrs in arow. Our defense was one of the best of all time but when u are on the field all the time your stats will not reflect this.
