Not official, but Arkansas is expected to name Tampa Bay OL coach Bob Bostad as TE coach maybe tomorrow. That is another HR hire. Could also be Recruiting Coordinator.

I don't know who all Stoops has hired, but I've heard he has a very good staff as well. Not impressed with Tennessee' new staff though.

Yes, this is a FAP thread.

Just some notes on AU's staff

Lashlee is "Offensive Coordinator"
Craig is "Co-Offensive Coordinator"

Johnson is "Defensive Coordinator"
Harbison is "Co-Defensive Coordinator"

Overall excellent hires by both

I thought with Malzahn and some stAte guys coming we would be able to pluck some Arkansas like years past.

You hogs are going to make that hard with the staff you put together.

Stay away next year. Arkansas is loaded in-state next year, surprisingly with defensive players.

DT Josh Frazier is already ranked the #2 DT in the nation for '14

and we have the #11 DT for next year already committed who is also out of Arkansas.

Also have another top DT, named Chuks Ota and a beast LB Jarvis Cooper.

I heard we are staying away from Arkansas players named Frazier, Burns, and anyone else that has 5 stars next to their name...

We have already tried the superstaff experiment. Did not work out too well.

Our current staff is a definite upgrade over last year's staff at every position except OL imo.

Not quite.

Total Defense
79. Auburn
108. Tennessee

Scoring Defense
63. Auburn
105. Tennessee

Passing Defense
47. Auburn
110. Tennessee

you left out:

Rushing Defense
Auburn: 98th
Tennessee: 87th

Pass Efficiency Defense:
Auburn: 99th
Tennessee: 86th

Our back 7 were incredibly weak and got worse throughout the year for the most part. Chiz probably deserve alot of blame, but that said I wouldn't want anyone from that defensive coaching staff.

Hope they turn out better for the Vols than they did for us

Martinez isn't horrible he just wasn't given much to work with and didn't help that our front seven applied no pressure/ Corey Lemonier packed it up after LSU.

Thigpen on the other hand, man that guy is alright at recruiting and that is about it. I mean shite, is there a single player he coached that wouldn't make Jordan Jefferson look like RGIII?
