KSU should have went for two there. It's a 16-point game. If you go for two there and get it, you make it 14, but if you don't, it's still a two possession game. You could essentially miss the two and still be a two-score game. Now, because you chose the extra point, you HAVE to make the two you take.

Exactly. If you go for it on the first one, you can go 2/3 on two-point plays and still tie the game (while also going 1/1 to tie it if you would have made it on the first attempt). Now, KSU HAS to go 1/1 on whichever time they attempt.

The only advantages of this is that it keeps the momentum going (missed 2 pts could change that) and keeps the pressure on the other team.
