WWl radio just announced that Chris Davenport will transfer to Tulane and play next season as a DT. he graduates from LSU, and still has 1 yr eligibility. Under recent NCAA rule changes, he can immediately play for another school, without having to sit a year. Radio, so no link. I wish him luck, but he never lived up to his h.s. acclaim while at LSU.

Simon doesn't really surprise me just based on his needing to support a kid. I would love for him to stay but it doesn't surprise me.

Logan is a surprise, and I honestly had forgotten about him when I made my original post.

Never expected to have this much attrition in one season. Is this going to help CLM sign a full recruiting class for 2014, or will it have no effect? 2014 is going to a big year for recruiting

With everyone leaving. Does that say something? In confidence that they would stay to win a NC. Or does that mean expect the same next year??

I wasn't really concerned about him leaving but after the trend, I was concerned.

Glad he and Poppa are staying!!

I wish the rest of our boys the best!!

How can you not say coaching has something to do with this many players leaving? If any team could have this happen it's Alabama but they lose maybe 4-5 players per year to leaving early?

How do you not convince Simon, Ford, Wing who won't be drafted in the first two rounds at the earliest to stay for their senior year? This is on the coaching and leadership of this program.

ANY chance I wonder if 1/9 and the "what could have been" loss to Alabama in November changes some of these guys minds. One can hope I guess...
