Minter will be the biggest lose. Reid will not be missed, dude blew more coverages and missed big tackles all year long. Seriously overrated. Mingo will get drafted high on potential. None have been dominant players.

You're mistaken. Reid played great this year. You probably saw less than 5% of his footage, but that doesn't stop you from having a buffoonish opinion.

Misusing "who" and ending sentences in prepositions.

Don't even compare LSU to Bama. It is like comparing a penny to a million dollars. RTR

No Reid underperformed. He did a great job at hitting defenseless receivers though.

With the mass exodus of stars on defense, plus a couple going on offense.... 1-9-2012 was a program killer for LSU. This was the domino effect that having a retarded coach waste a chance at winning a national title will get you.

Hopefully Miles decides he's burnt out on coaching football and decides to resign on his own soon. We need a guy that prepares his team and gameplan more effectively. Its time to roll the dice on a new man in charge

Bama coaches up talent. You cant compare miles and saban when you talk about coaching players up.

Look at the number of NFL players on last yr and this yr team for lsu combined.

You should win 90% of your games just on talent. If you know how to coach you should win one NC out of those 2 yrs. If your saban you win 2.

LSU played 13 games. As I recall, he stunk in 12 of them.

DE is more a concern with the probable loses of Montgomery and Mingo.

Hunter and Rasco.

Our problem will be depth behind those guys.

Loston is a SS at the next level. No reason for him to move to FS.

The days of having good players for 4 years are gone, better play them as true freshmen. Only a few who are from strong background and have good education may choose to stay based on cost/benefit analysis.

Didn't read through the many pages of posts. But It seems that Reid and Simon could benefit greatly by staying an extra year.

So having players good enough to leave early to go the nfl means the program is over. Wow.

Reid played great at times.. but the dude probably gave up 10 plays of 20+ yards this year on his own. He takes extremely poor angles. I think he'll be good in the NFL in a few years.. wouldn't mind the Saints picking him up in a middle round

You sir are a dumbfrick. Chavis has coached more nfl players on the pro bowl roster than Saban. We are not discussing who is a better HC yet can lsu withstand the losses on defense. And the answer is yes, chavis puts out as many or more nfl players than Saban. The proof is in the nfl rosters, littered with chavis coached players from Tenn and lsu. i dont think anyone will dispute that saban also develops nfl Ready players And is a better HC but give chavis his due. the defense will be fine. the offense; thats another story. Congrats on being a dumbfrick who can't stay on topic. GFY then jump off a cliff.
