@psufootball
Bill O'Brien likely gone to Eagles or Browns, says CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora LINK

Sounds like these two team will either end up with OBrien or Kelly.

Ya he did. I think he feels misled on the scope of their problems though.

not all that surprising really. Wasn't his name thrown around some as possible NFL head coach before he took the Penn State job?

seems like he has interviewed for some NFL jobs before but I could be thinking about somebody else.

PSU needs a coach who understands how to deal with NCAA sanctions. I have the perfect guy in mind.

What a disaster that would be. Kiffen only falls upstream though.

Good for O'Brien. Disaster for PSU however.

The football program will never be the same.

Word I've heard from an agent to an NFL coach is that O'Brien was told the Sandusky think would be a recruiting obstacle, but not an NCAA issue. He was misled considerably and feels that he could leave without having to pay as much of the buyout as is being reported (or any of the buyout at all), which is why he is gaining interest.

An NFL owner, while a billionaire, isn't going to pay $18M just for the right to hire a coach. He could add that $18M to the contract of someone like Dungy, Cowher, Gruden, etc. for that matter.

It's funny. He talked a lot of those kids out of transferring, only to bail on them the next year.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one to do that.

If he doesn't succeed in the NFL, he would be the perfect fit as the next coach as lsu.

Why do you say that?

Pete Thamel is reporting PSU is making a push for him to stay.

Cleveland would be smart to hire Ken Wisenhunt. He's the best coach available. Arizona went full retard by firing him.
