Those extra 2 wins will be tremendous for us this offseason when we hang our hat on this season. Those 2 wins give us pride and joy and a bright future. I'm so glad we are drafting 15, I'd hate to be in range for a guy worth a frick that can upgrade a position on our team and make someone unemployed. Drafting 6th or 7th will be too tough of a decision for this front office. Lets sit back at 15 and figure out who nobody wants first. I'm thinking we can get a defensive tackle who can't stop the run or one of the DE's that can't rush the passer. I'm fricking Stoked Yo.

No one said we won't make a trade to go grab someone Loomis and Payton want.

Relax... they got this.

Oh, so we sacrificing like 2nd round picks to hang our hat on a 7 win season. We could of had those guys for free.

I thought I was the only person who wanted to tank this season after we started so badly.

Kinda like an 8th grade house party. You better not get the girl in the bedroom just to get a kiss and rub a butt. You better come out that room with a stinky finger or you might as well have stayed on the sofa.

Really? up until the bears won in week 16 the Saints had a shot at the playoffs. If you aren't eliminated you don't tank games for one. Two the draft is and always has been a crap shoot at best, don't believe be look at the last ten drafts there was someone drafted after pick 15 that could have went top five easily. For example if 2012 draft is redone this year does Alfred Morris go top five, Doug Martin. Russell Wilson is a top ten pick. Trust the scouting dept. They have hit and proven themselves before.

I somewhat agree.

The talent drop-off outside of the top 10 picks is pretty large. I was actually somewhat thrilled with the idea of losing out (when we were 0-4) and getting the first pick.

I'm glad we won some games, and I was absolutely all-in for maybe sneaking into the playoffs.. But we're about at the last place a team wants to be. Outside of the playoffs, but not with a good draft pick.

In your imaginary world where a 7-9 type team decides to tank, do the 6-10 type teams also tank?

We were still alive for the playoffs and we don't know how people will do at the combines and who will fall to us at 15. Heck if we get our 2nd round pick back maybe we can trade up and draft a real playmaker.

That's one of the bright spots. We helped keep Dallas out of the playoffs(not that they would have done anything.

There is nothing that burns my fleshy underbridge more than a team being eliminated from the playoffs and THEN deciding maybe it's time to get it together.

HOWEVER, I will say that maybe, just maybe, 15 could be the sweet spot for a highly sought after player to drop due to a run on a position. :shitsinonehand:
