Yesterday the discussion on Sports Today, Hannegriff, Ott, and Ponamsky, was that LSU has not recruited well at the receiver position for the last 4 years. The Patterson stud that went to Tennessee chose them over LSU.

Possibly, I think Landry and OBJ have potential to be studs if we can get the offense as a whole back on track. This year we were pretty young at the position, and sure that has to do with missing out on studs like Mike Davis, Patterson, etc...

I'm not sure if I will concede that we missed out on those guys simply because of the offense. Over the last 4 years we brought in 2 five stars, 6 four stars, and 4 three stars.

Landry and OBJ are very good slot receivers. Of course, it took until the Alabama game before we even started to send out 3 or 4 receivers on a route. OBJ is being used on the outside right now, and he is unable to break away from corners or use size to catch balls over the top.
