Fantastic restaurant- have yet to try anything on
the menu that was not fantastic. Between it and
Domenica, there is an embarrassment of riches
re Italian eateries in NO.

It's very comparable to Domenica.

I actually prefer the menu and food at A Mano. Although, I find its service and atmosphere a bit lacking.

A very good restaurant that you will certainly enjoy as long as you are prepared for Italian food that they serve in Italy.

It is not the typical New Orleans Creole Italian.

Sounds good to me. Bringing a lady friend there. Thanks for the advice. Any suggestions on Antipasti or Entree's?

Yeah I was thinking about the Spaghetti maybe. You can't really go wrong with traditional.

I actually had one of the best steaks in my life there. Can't remember the cut, but it wasn't your usual filet or ribeye. Absolutely glorious.

I had a great hanger steak there a few weeks ago.

No. The gnudi in brown butter. Amazing.

A Mano is one of my favorite italian places in town. For antipasti we have really enjoyed the Caponata and Polpette.

For pasta the Gnudi is delicious but very rich, also like the spaghetti and canneloni.

Secondi, go for the duck breast or hanger steak.

Nice. What exactly is the gundi? I heard people rave over it at work too.

Realy solid restaurant. Don't expect it to be like Vincent's. I love the gnudi and the best rabbit I ever ate was at A Mano. I agree the atmosphere is lacking, but the food certainly isn't.

It's essentially a dumpling of ricotta cheese boiled like pasta, then served in brown butter. Sounds simple, but it's delicious.

Had an awesome rabbit dish there. Definitely a place that doesn't get mentioned as much as it should.
