Oregon is selling Fiesta Bowl tickets for 200-250 a pop. Tickets are way overpriced.

Oregon fans are not willing to pay that much to watch the Ducks play KSU in a bowl game that they didn't want to be in. We wanted to play Florida so we could play the SEC.

I'd rather sit at home and watch the game in my home theater with my friends and drink good beer for a lot cheaper. I only travel for marquee regular season games with national title implications, and Rose Bowls/National Championships.

KSU travels very well. I remember back in the 90's when they played Colorado St. in the Holiday Bowl, thinking San Diego's being invaded by Wildcats. Last night it looked like Oregon was pretty well rep'd though, and if they were outnumbered, it wasn't a factor in the game.

Dude it was like 75/25 easy. That said I get why Oregon didn't show up to the game yesterday. Worst BCS location, they were just there two years ago, 4 straight BCS games, nothing to play for. I wouldn't have gone that's for damn sure.

i dont know how i would rank the BCS locations (ive been to the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta and Fiesta NCG), but the Fiesta is every bit as fun to attend as the Rose and Sugar

I've seen Oregon play 4 times in the last couple of years, and they have traveled well once

2011 NCG in Glendale vs Auburn - the stadium was 70-75% Auburn fans, and there were a ton of Auburn fans left outside

2011 Cowboy Stadium vs LSU - 85% LSU fans, but this is understandable given the location

2012 Rose Bowl vs Wisconsin - This was closer to 55-45% in the stadium. Oregon fans traveled well.

2013 Fiesta vs KSU - Probably 70% KSU fans. There were a ton of empty seats in the Oregon side upper deck.

I love the Fiesta, have been to 2 games there. Only problem is how spread out it is.

It's a better game day atmosphere than the Orange, although the orange has SoBe etc

I hate the Orange Bowl's location. The old Orange Bowl was probably great because it was at least close to downtown, but they play in the Dolphin's stadium which has no atmosphere whatsoever and is way away from downtown Miami and South Beach.

Sugar Bowl is downtown within easy walking distance of Bourbon so that's nice.
Rose Bowl is one of the best college stadium venues.
Never been to the Fiesta Bowl so cannot comment.

the Fiesta is out in Glendale, which sucks.. but the sponsored tailgates are pretty awesome, and the Westgate area is adjacent to the stadium with a lot of bars/restaurants/shops

everyone hangs out in Scottsdale and Tempe leading up to game day, and both have great nightlife

Agreed, I enjoyed Glendale. And Sedona the few days before was great, too.
