Despite being outplayed in our bowl game LSU, unlike Florida, was at least in a situation where they could win the game. We have been in that position in every game we played this year. Credit goes mostly to the defense for that. We outplayed Bama but nobody will remember that in the long run, only the final score. Point being that despite our lackluster offense for most of the season and some epic brain farts at the end of games we were well prepared going to each and every game. Many will say we weren't prepared offensively but i believe that to be a mostly due to inexperience at QB and receiver positions. It's the way we lose, with victory in our grasp, that make the losses that much harder to take. To my memory, with the lone exception of the Bama BCS game last year, that's the way it's been most of Miles tenure. Correct that with an OC that Miles respects enough to allow to make the calls in crunch time (along with other adjustments that need to be make on offense) then I think we're in a position to win every game we play.

The plus side of our bowl game is I believe it will be the impetus that was necessary to force the hiring of a new OC. In Miles and Stud's defense this wasn't the way it was supposed to be with Krag's unforeseen illness. However, it's obvious it's time for a change at the OC. Here's hoping Miles makes the right hire.
