ran 10.52 100 meters and won state title. We have him listed as a cornerback and he has not hit the field. Thoughts...is Raymond just not a football player? Also, what is the call in number for Buddy's show? Thanks.

Just because he is fast doesn't mean he can catch.

Also, 10.52 isn't exceptionally fast.

I am pretty sure I saw us with a guy (James Wright???) behind the Clemson defense and the Mettsiah overthrew him by a two feet.

ummm, not every true freshman plays. doesn't mean he can't play, just might need more development.

? That is a track time, not just a time fudged by the wide receivers coach who also magically adds 3 inches of height when filling out the roster cards.

40 times are more relevant, but a legit 10.52 in the 100 is fast.

It's not really about speed, more about a big guy who can go up and catch the ball. Like Randle, Bowe, Lafell, Clayton, etc...we don't have anyone (except Armand Williams who will never play ever) who is over 6'2 on our roster

we have plenty of speed, get that shite outta here.

Good routes and getting off jams will negate a speed deficiency even if we had one.

Beckham, Shepard and Boone are plenty fast though

Fast yes. Exceptionally fast, no. When I say exceptionally, I mean like 4.3 fast.

Jesus I never said 10.52 wasn't fast. You people have reading comprehension issues.

Raymond played his freshman and senior seasons, not the same thing. Mingo redshirted also

I had high hopes for Kavahra Holmes being our speedster at WR but he got moved to CB. Our CB depth is ridiculous

FWIW I ran a simular speed in the 100 in HS and ran a bit walking on at LSU. I was listed as a WR on the HS football team but played CB. Want to know why?

He ran that in the 100 meters not 100 yards. The 40 is 40 yards.

Well a 10.60 is an automatic 4.4 guy so what does that say?
