I ask because the "negative" crew tends to blame the coaches and defend the players while the "positive" crew tends to poke fun at the players throwing them under the bus while creaming themselves over Miles.

Wouldn't the bigger "fan" take up for the players? Yet the negative crowd is told to go root for another team.

Trashing players. They aren't making obscene amounts of money.

Players come and go, Miles' offense doesn't.

You really got bent out of shape because someone stated the obvious that Russell Shepard wasnt that good.

I know this thread was started in response to me.

Try looking at my post history about Miles since Monday.

Also, Shep still wasn't good enough to get touches. I don't care if it hurts your feelings or not.

He picked the wrong school to go to and he didn't fit in the offense.

If someone was mediocre and Miles kept giving him shot after shot after shot, you guys would be flipping the frick out, ala Jefferson.

Cry more of a river.

Miles has been given enough time to show he knows offense.

Who thinks our offense is better than when we let Gary Crowton go. Where is the improvement?

most miles bashers think coaching exists in a computer simulation. that when a play isn't executed, it's not a player mistake, but that player should've been "coached up" more to not drop that pass etc.

everything is traced back to coaching to support their agenda. successes are attributed things like luck or that's when they realize players make plays too.

That's one EASY example followed by the posi-attacks on Mett, the OLine, the defense, and the WRs with their poor "execution" followed by calling them out by name.

I just thinks it's a very intriguing double standard.

Yes he did. For a player that people think will be "a star in the NFL." Which is another joke in itself.

What's there to trash? Everything is great in Miles' World. 10-3 chick fail a runner up champions, back to back moral national championships, offense consistently ranked around 80 out of 119.

stating that a play should have been executed isn't "throwing a player" under the bus

it's asking those players to execute

blaming the coaching staff based on play calls is acceptable but rather foolish as well= pretty easy to say something shouldn't have been done after it doesn't work

so the answer is fans need to get a grip and understand that none of them are coaching or playing and that they really have no input other than to buy a ticket or not

No the poster stated he HOPED RS would be a star and you laughed at him following that up with talking down about RS.

In other words, you're being a hypocrite.

Yeah he said that in order to be able to trash the coaches. Great reasoning

Goes up there with all those on here desperately hoping lee made the practice squad in the NFL so you guys could show up the coaches

Let's clarify:

"Mett overthrew that pass."
"Alexander missed his blocks."
"Reid missed that coverage."

Isn't trashing players. It's stating facts.

no I'm not.

Shep was mediocre in the pro-style offense.

Miles offense is a fricking joke at this point.

What else is there?

What do you want me to tell you? Because Shep was a 5 star, he was automatically All-Conference and the coaches should change up their pro-style for a spread just to fit him?

OK. That's pretty logical.

Kid won't make it in the NFL. He's too small. I'm not sure why all you guys keep praising the kid. I'm sure he's a GREAT guy off the field. He's done some good things at LSU, I'm sure.

As a football player, thanks, but no thanks. Pass. Just not to Shep

It's the coaches fault if coaches do their job on every play then plyers will do theirs and correct mistakes that they make.
