I still have to go see Django and a few others. Finally saw Looper yesterday. It might get a "random duo" nod, but that's about it.

What's with JGL's face in that movie? Is that makeup, has he aged weirdly or did someone hit him in the face with a 2x4?

There have been a lot of big popcorn flicks this year, but few "Oscar-worthy" major motion pictures.

And Prometheus sucked.

Paranorman and Frankenweenie both pretty good? I know you love Tim Burton about as much as I do.

I've literally seen like 15 movies from 2012.

It's probably too early to do this. Once Oscar season wraps up, people will probably be able to give better opinions.

Frankenweenie blew ParaNorman out of the water, easily Burton's best film in years

15 is more than me for sure. Give me a year or two and I will have seen pretty much every one worth seeing, but I just don't go to theatres or buy new movies much.
