Let me preface by saying I have yet to see Django and about four other movies I want to see. My list will definitely change if I can get those in before this locks in.
Movies
Marley
The Hobbit
Tara Reid - American Reunion
Brooklyn Decker - Battleship
Best Writing
Rian Johnson - Looper
Neil Purvis/Robert Wade - Skyfall
Moonrise Kingdom - Wes Anderson
This is the category that upsets the most about not having watched a ton of 2012 movies
Wreck It Ralph
Brave
Kill List
Prometheus
The Hobbit
Skyfall
The Dark Knight Rises
Was there any Tyler Perry movies this year? If so, the lead actress in that.
Was there any Tyler Perry movies this year? If so, the lead actor in that.
Was there any Tyler Perry movies this year? If so, that movie.
Battleship
Casa De Mi Padre
Bernie
Project X
Ken Burns - The Central Park Five
Rian Johnson - Looper
Bart Layton - The Imposter
I haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook but I kind of stalk Jennifer Lawrence so I'm gonna say her.
Scarlet Johannson because :datass:
Helen Mirren - Hitchcock
NAOMI WATTS - THE IMPOSSIBLE
*Havent seen Lincoln, Holy Motors, The Master or Django
Anthony Hopkins - Hitchcock
JGL - Looper
Martin Freeman - The Hobbit
The Central Park Five
Looper
The Hobbit
The Impossible
Board Awards
I would just like to congratulate whoever wins this. And thank Jamohn for creating this in my honor. And Lacour for caring. Jamohn.
Might as well try and make Blue Velvet a two time champ. Even though he's not really. I guess RollTide1987 because he is an award season freak. Though that doesn't really make him a snob.
Etm512. Possibly the funniest guy on TD.com

Hmm.
Microsoft Pain.... ICONIC MOVIE IMAGES. God this thread was awesome
I don't have it linked on my iPad but also I don't know if it would count as a whole but The Sexiest/Most Beautiful Actress of All-Time TOURNAMENT threads. And if just one, the round of 16.
Quality over quantity though.
Edit: Cant believe I forgot about H-Town Tiger. H-Town Tiger
Pectus
I feel like Baloo/Constant Cough/and Freaux don't love me anymore
Also, it would be like picking your favorite child by picking one of the regulars of the S/MB TOURNAMENT posters. Hard to say.
I'll just create a new voting area...

Too kind too kind. I think my absence on this board of late will hurt me here especially when I lost in my more active years as well.
I will need to go over what I've seen this year and get on some nominations in the next few.

Hopefully it will get some nominations for this one. Or I will blow this mother down. Probably would have to blow my computer up though. That might not accomplish much. You know what that was just a bad idea I'm not going to blow the place up.
but other than yours, I can't think of too many threads that stand out. the crackpot ASOIAF thing deserved a nod for longevity alone. the "take a letter from a movie title, etc. thread was funny. what else was there?

thats my boy wasnt any worse than adam sandlers other crap of late.. in fact i was able to watch the entire movie. twice.. and i am not a sandler fan.

That's a pretty solid list. Although never, under any circumstances, talk bad about Jessica Biel. Sweet baby Jesus her body is off the charts. I know that has nothing to do with her acting, but still, you know what I mean.

I dk if we can include all of the most beautiful/sexiest actress of all time threads but if we can than all of them.
If not than it's the sweet 16 round thread of that tourney
HERE is the link to the sweet 16 thread (should change the name back iwy) all the other threads links are in the subject of that thread. At one point I told someone I was going to do to them what happened to the guy in A Serbian Film; and Lacour was threatening to collect IP addresses and bomb people's houses, just saying...
Hitchcock Award (Best Poster)
hmmmmmm, I dk if I'm voting for this one, I'm not really into all the big movie threads and Oscar threads and stuff so I dk who to vote for. I will say that CottonWasKing's passion and knowledge for Game of Thrones is impressive.
I also think Carson123987 is a quality poster and a nice guy
I also want to say that this board is great, with my new job it's been slow at times and this board has helped me pass a lot of time. All of y'alls passion and overall knowledge of movies is very impressive, I'm sure I've argued and bitched at more than a few of y'all over the last year. But I am very glad I found this board, best, nicest, smartest, and most knowledgable board on TD by a mile for my money

It don't matter man. There have been plenty of people in the past that have only done like 2-3 votes.
