Posters calling out the pass play on 2nd &2.

During the Bama game , Miles was an idiot for not passing and trying to get the first and now he is an idiot for throwing to get the first down.
Miles will just never get some of our fan's respect. They call a great play and get a wide open wr 2 yards past the sticks and our qb makes a bad throw.

It was like the auburn pass in 2007, lucky if it works, bone headed if it doesn't.
Mett HAS to make that throw, but the play should never have been called anyways.
Not when you have a running back that is ON FIRE for 10 carries, 125 yards and 2. TD's.

you run the ball in that situation, if you can't get two yards in 2 downs you don't deserve to win

Rantards have screamed for years for play action on 2nd and short and when we do do it, they scream cuz it did not work out. Ohmy the clock thing. We needed at least one first down there too.

It wasn't 2nd and 2 in the Alabama game. How do you not see the difference.
The 1st down play last night was a pass and was great. It was the perfect setup to running on 2nd and short for the 1st.

it was the pass on third down after the passes on first and second I think that really chapped some peoples asses. You gotta make em atleast burn one time out if you aren't gonna pick up a first. I have no problem on second and two with the play call cause IT WORKED!!! Dude was wide open. Problem is mettenberger couldn't hit the side of a barn on that play so thats squarely on the execution.

I am a big Miles advocate, that's probably not a secret on here, but I am so fed up with our predictability.
It's the same dumb game plan for every game, minus the Alabama game and possibly the A&M one, but aside from those, it's the same stupid, predictable calls.
Run a lot, pass a little. Last night, very little.
And it's not a new item. We've had 4, well 5 now, years of this same stuff. The same dumb calls. Not sure what happened last season, and don't get me wrong, I loved it and I yearn to be that excited again.
The stupid calls and the playing down to our opponents. Look at the Idaho, Towson, Ole Miss, last night's game..... all look like the same games. (Offensively)
And with the talent we have, we shouldn't be just farting out wins over these teams. But we always just seem to get by.
So the passing play on 2nd & 2 is just another example of the same calls. And on top of that, we had a month to get ready for this game. Looked like the same stuff I've been seeing on offense for the last 5 years.
With the talent we have, this stuff shouldn't happen. Get a proven OC and put Stud back on the OL.

The situations are similar. If you can't see that then you're a fricking idiot.
Both games LSU is leading and trying to get a first down to ice the game. Yeah they aren't similar at all.i hate our ignorant fan base.

Posters on here called Mile an idiot for not going for the first down against Bama because he GASP running the clock down. This time he does what the posters want and he is an idiot for calling a good play to get a wide open wr the ball.

Passing had a chance for a completely negative result, running didn't.
Didn't run clock, didn't make them burn timeouts, and didn't get the first down. It might be the 2 worst calls miles has ever made, if only because the correct decision was so easy to arrive at.

Uh clemson's def played better than Bama's did against us and both are situations where LSU is trying to ice the game. Period. They are similar situation.

Clemson stacking the box is WAY different than Alabama stacking the box. Clemson couldn't stop us on the ground
