David Shaw as LSU's Head Coach. Just watched the Rose Bowl and that's a freaking head coach right there. He runs a perfect offense for us and wish we had a real head coach and OC. It would be a perfect combo. Get him and keep Chavis and you'll have a Nat. Championship within his first few years

Anyone agree?

Just said the same thing. I'm tired of our head coach being a fricking punch line.

Stanford is an example that having smart players can over some limitations which translates to winning

Just sick of being a team with all the talent in the world and losing games because our head coach is a dumbass. Most fans love Miles because of the 10+ wins a season crap but the ceiling is higher than that.

I want to see what happens over a few more years with him. Harbaugh left him a loaded ship, even without Luck.

This is kind of a misconception that there's not a ton of smart GOOD football players out there. Take a look at Stanford's recent recruiting classes, they are downright SOLID. They pulled in an OL class recently that would make any school jealous.

He gives a great interview for sure. Great school, opportunity for a great education, not sure why a kid wouldn't consider them if he could get in.

Are you kidding? Coach Miles's team would beat Stanford comfortably by six points.

I feel like with Les at LSU the offense has the talent and parts of a Ferrari, but the engine of a Prius. There is some disconnect somewhere along the way, and I don't see it getting any better anytime soon. Shaw would be a great fit at LSU, if you can recruit talent there you can recruit anywhere.

Have Shaw calling the plays for this LSU team against that Stanford team and they win by more than a Miles coached team.
