How many times did we go 3 & OUT?

No, but pretty damn close.
And they have a putrid defense.

8 times, out of 14 total drives (not counting the end of the 2nd half, when we ran no plays). Of our 14 total drives we had 8 3&outs, 1 6&out, 1 interception. Of the 4 scoring drives one began at the 25 yard line, one began at the 29 yard line, one was a single 57 yard run, and only 1 was a multi-play drive that actually began in LSU territory.

So much for a run-the-clock ball control offense.

Unsure about number of 3 and outs, but think when I got back to the RV last night, ESPN had a screen indicating in 4th quarter we had 0 first downs and 2 total yards
