Clearly going through the motions on his gameday show, not hiding his boredom on the postgame show, (which sometimes didn't run the full 1.5 hrs.) And the biggie: not even having a postgame show last night. I guess he didn't feel like working on NYE.

Charles is supposed to be Hawthorne's heir apparent, according to some. I don't think it should be handed to him without opening it up to other candidates. I haven't been impressed with his on air performance or his work ethic this year.

It is pretty lazy not to have a postgame show because its NYE.

Charles has been great all season. You can't ask a radio crew to work New Years Eve

If the bowl game is on NYE, I by God expect him to work on NYE.

PLEASE - no Hanagriff taking over LSU game broadcasts! First I've heard of that truly alarming rumor. I have never heard a broadcaster who is so obviously bored with his work.

If he's getting paid, the lazy fricker ought to be in front of the microphone doing his job, whether he wants to be there or not. Lots of things I don't like about my job. I still do them.

I guess Jim Nantz and Joe Buck should quit then because obviously it's against the constitution to work on Thanksgiving

One of the dumbest things I've read on here in a while
