Hmm...does Lacuna Coil fit into the "Experimental Rock" genre? Probably not, but, Cristina Scabbia's got some serious pipes.

As far as Dream Pop type stuff goes, School of Seven Bells is a great choice (one of my fave bands)
But Purity Ring was the breakout group this past year. On many peoples album of the year lists.

Agree... but LC is definitely under the "hard rock" umbrella.
