If we do replace Stud, who should we hire as the new OC?

I've seen a lot of people complaining about Studrawa and the general direction of our offense. Now if we do in fact replace him who would we go and hire? I really like Josh Huepel out of OU and I'm sure their are many suitable candidates who could maximize the potential and output of our offense.

Feel free to add any names you think would be a worthwhile and viable option.

Again, as said in several other threads here today...does it really matter?

Who knows? How do we even know Miles has such a heavy hand in the offensive play calling? I don't. I'm just trying to present a potential solution to whatever problem their may be.

Not really. It would be really bad if Miles went and hired someone with a different offensive philosophy than him. You know he won't keep his hands off, so he might as well have a "yes man" as his OC. Stud could be fine at that, but I think he's terrible at play calling/personnel decisions. The biggest example of this last night besides Hill not carrying the ball in the 4th quarter (not sure if that is Stud's fault or not) was the slip screen we threw to Dickson. Who runs that play to a freaking TE?

Fair enough. I don't know for a certainty, but I've heard from enough folks in and around the program that I believe this to be the case.

Miles doesn't have much of a hand in actual play calling, IMO. He may decide run/pass or strongly suggest things to Stud, but he doesn't call the plays. Miles involvement in the offense is on Sunday-Friday with scheme.

Again, what I hear is Miles sets the game plan during the week with input from Krags and Stud. He charts plays to be run in certain downs and distances and situations.

Stud soes call the plays but is limited to the charted game plan and Miles does of course occassinally overrule.

He has a run first philosophy and will fit in nicely.
