I posted a while back that I thought Miles was the most arrogant coach I had ever seen and was raked for it. I still believe that. Running into stacked boxes, man to man simplistic offense, slow changes, obvious lack of self scouting. And it has been fed by the Hatter bs and iron clad contract. Allevas comments about being in the hunt for championships is what really is what it is about screams arrogance as well. Being in the hunt is a job requirement, not reason for extensions and raises. Miles tenure at LSU is like Fulmers at Tennessee. I had hoped it would not end in the same way. I must say now I am not sure it won't end that same way. Frankly, the reaction on the board to last nights game kinda surprised me. I thought I was in the vast minority in my opinion of Miles. But it took a loss in the Chik-fil-A bowl to convince some of you that there are issues in the program? And some actually thought Miles was better than Saban?? Seriously, what happens from here on out? Is the fan base 60/40 for Miles or the other way around? Ex players tweeting about Miles. Juniors heading out at first chance. Recruiting still top notch. Where do things stand from a program standpoint right now?? IDK

We need a real OC to come in and Les miles needs to keep his hands out of it.

Arrogance is too kind. Unintelligent seems more right on. He simply does not know how to manage a game.

Never gonna happen.

No decent OC worth his salt will come here specifically BECAUSE they all know Les wont keep his hands out of it.

Somebody at some point has apparently convinced Les that he is some sort of offensive guru. Results be damned.

Miles still has a 1970's Schembechler mindset. Michigan was good enough to run anything it wished against Big Two + Little 10 defenses, few adjustments required. He doesn't have the brainpower to adjust to what near-equal talent defenses throw at him.

Well Stud says "Les is a great coach to work for. Coach Miles calls all the plays so I eat in the press box which helped me run Twinkies out of business."

Now that's arrogance.

I hope you are right. I would be pleased if every coach came back and we won the NC with them. That way it can give us all peace that the coaches weren't as totally stupid as it looked.

Just wait until Coach Miles jumps to the NFL and LSU misses him.

That day is coming. Coach Miles and his family aren't going to hang around forever being constantly bashed. There are other fanbases that will appreciate him.

I don't like arrogant coaches either. I hate arrogant busterds like Saban, Kelly, Meyer, Richt, and Suprrier. I want LSU to have a humble and meek coach.

Yea, the poor guy, good thing he's got a giant pile of money to wipe his tears with.

I feel it's more stubbornness and unwillingness to let the OC call plays unopposed.

10 wins a year in the sec tends to do those kinds of things. Stop crying and get over it.

I think it's stubbornness not arrogance.
