How about the debate over politically correct team names/mascots.

True story a town in Illinois was known as the Pekin Chinks. Now they are dragons.

Still seeing Lebron haters after he wins league MVP, Olympic gold, and a NBA Championship.

Eta: talking about his game, not his persona

People using team accomplishments to support their arguments for which player is better.

Announcers calling every direct snap to a non-QB the Wildcat.

People who don't understand how to interpret statistics.

People complaining about safety rules instead of recognizing that if players were fundamentally sound in their tackling techniques, the emphasis on safety would neither be necessary nor would it impact the game.

The emphasis on outcome rather than process, particularly in the analysis of coaching decisions.

If you quit watching, listening and following ESPN you won't have to worry about this too much.

Debates on "who's better" in any sport. Why the frick does it matter? Just enjoy the fricking game. I don't give a shite who you think is better between two all-pro QB's. They are all pro. No need for debate.

People/fans/Reporters thinking they know better than coaches/play callers/players. We have no clue what the keys are or what the plan is.
