I've seen people mention .22 ammo being unavailable

Does that include .22LR? A buddy and I are talking about going plinking this afternoon and I only have about 200 rounds left. Am I going to be wasting my time trying to find them? How about the el cheapo bricks? I know they are dirty, but if it's all I can get, I'll take them.

Wife picked up a couple of the Winchester 313 round boxes at Walmart yesterday. They are getting shipments in, but it's not much.

I called the local sporting goods stores and they sounded kinda apologetic as they told me no. Then I called walmarks and the dude just chuckled as he said no, like I was crazy for even asking. This is crazy.

I went to two Academy Sports on Friday and the ammo isle looked like the bread and bottled water isle before Katrina. The only 22lr they had was rat shot and a 1 box of swamp people 22.

whats the deal with all the .22 getting bought up? its not related to the gun buying spree everyone is on is it?

I had a couple 1,000 rounds but lost it when my boat sank with all my guns.

It's just more of the "panic buying" that's going on nationwide. The Bossier City BPS had NO 22 LR ammo this afternoon. Didn't have any of the $10/50 round target ammo!BC Academy only had a few boxes of rat shot.
