Kind of an odd pair. Then again, anyone paired with T Snider will be a bit odd.

On my schedule for Friday night; first time I've seen either one.

Is amazing.

I have no idea who Todd Snider is. I'd go just to see Elizabeth.

And that song "It takes balls to be a woman" is really not typical of her music.

This is more what she's about, IMO: "All the time"

And I, too, am in love with EC.

I've enjoyed TS for years, just never got the chance to see him .. so reminiscent of Arlo Guthrie.

I've been listening to EC dj on Outlaw Country for years .. also a great sense of humor .. lovin a song by her called 'El Camino'

I've had both on Spotify for the past couple of weeks ... hope my schedule keeps open for Friday night.

I saw Jerry Jeff Walker do one of his songs (I'm an Alright Guy) earlier this year; saw Cross Canandian Ragweed do "Late Last Night" a couple of years ago. JJW is a strong influence on him.

This is so true. This is the song that gets air-time, yet her most recent album is all Gospel songs.

I've been pleasantly suprised with how much 'love' EC has received here .. love for TS didn't suprise me.

This could be a helluva show.

Yes, he was. So much of his stuff is funny and poignant. He was a blast to see.

The venue (Variety Playhouse, Atl) was a sit down venue, theatre style. I hate sitting in a seat all night, but for TS's show it was perfectly alright. It's not like your going to get up and dance.

Elizabeth Cook was awesome. She played all her popular songs plus a couple of new Gospel ones ... which really showed off her pipes. I was not happy having to sit in a seat during her show.

Robert Earl K is headed to this same venue later this month .. I'd be miserable having to sit through one of his shows, so I'll likely skip it.

EC is great. I saw her in San Fran a few years ago on a small stage at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, been a fan since
