josh, if we don't violently steal 30-40% of your labor, how will there ever be a peaceful society?

Plus, whether it's "working" or "can work" or whatever does not matter to me. I'm against the government initiation of force. Period.

Libertarians these days....

I'm telling you we're going backwards. SFP told me that society exists because of the State. Scary things.

Independent but I like trolling republicans because they are out of touch and over react. It was priceless that all the Foxnews minions on here were convinved Romney was a lock to win when everyone else in the world saw what was coming. Nate Silver FTW

Yeah, he thinks statism has allowed us to progress over the past 6,000 years. But compared to what?

And he's considered a libertarian on here.

Is stealing 99% of someone's labor considered slavery? 98%? At what point is it no longer "slavery"?

You do not post like anything but a leftist.

I will ask the question again for all:

Both political parties need to all go.

They will be replaced with all new people as dems and pubs with a LOT less of them and strict term limits.

AGREE

DISAGREE

I haven't been told I am liberal but I have been told I am not a fiscal conservative, which I am.

I would like a 3rd party to gain traction.

I am a registered repub but voted 3rd party in 08 and 12

Sometimes it depends on the issue but more often than not, I'd say I'm a gumbo made with a libertarian base with a healthy portion of conservative and a little sprinkle of modern liberalism.

40% of your labor is directly attributed to government provided education and infrastructure

Additionally, we'll take another 15% due to the fact that some don't get their fair share due to systemic biases that are out of their control

Another 15% so that we can take care of you when you get old...

The other 30% is yours to do with what you choose (subject to sales, use and property taxes, along with other various fees, tolls and surcharges)

Huh? Wait so you knew even though romney was up pre sandy by 5.5 - 6 points in the gallup and rasmussen polls that obama was a lock. Ummmmmm k. I wish had that kind of foresight, that a storm would hit the northeast and turn the momentum of the election. Can you pick my powerball numbers for me?

re: Who Is Who Here?

quote:

I love it when I get accused of being a liberal around here. Ummm, hello, people, there are other options!!!

I distinguish between liberals and leftists - rarely use the word liberal, but on occasion have done so.

I distinguish between democrats and democrat leadership/sycophants. I feel that most democrat voters are just stupid, ignorant, or greedy.

I distinguish between conservatives and the GOP, but am pragmatic enough to recognize that the GOP is the only place where true conservatives have any weight whatsoever. And it is obvious the national news media have taken the democrat party under their wing to protect at all costs - which is why I support the GOP in any national election of consequence.

I feel that most libertarians are just wanting loose dope laws, but I only get annoyed by them when they make fun of conservatives for supporting the GOP.

re: Who Is Who Here?

You may be right about libertarians. And I guess this forum is pub and dem hacks because not one single solitary frigging person said both political parties as they are now need stopped, all fired, cleaned up and strict term limits.

So the right goes off to the right pub corner and the left goes to the dem left progressive corner.

If 'one' HAD to say, the dems are the most fricked up.

The tea party gets a bad name but it is a big tent with independents.

The only way a third party is ever anything but a spoiler is if the GOP laid down and put their tent away.
