RG3 makes his team better. Cam is a selfish, mentally weak athlete who does the superman shirt rip when his team is down 35-7 in the 4th.

RG3 is a better passer, a shifty runner who avoids contact, and is a natural leader.

He is infinitely better than Cam

Good son. Let the butthurt flow. Embrace it. Own it. You know you need it during the day while Super Cam haunts your dreams at night.

Cam is the gift that keeps on giving for us Aubies.

You're right Cam has no history of making his teams better.

RG3 is a better passer

Maybe slightly.

a shifty runner who avoids contact

A runner with a history of injuries vs. a bulldozing machine who never gets hurt.

and is a natural leader

Already been pointed out how retarded of a comment this is from someone watching games on their couch.

Cam went to the worst team in the NFL and is 7-9 on a team that suffered a lot of injuries and had some horrible losses.

RGIII went to a middling team with a outstanding head coach that mortgaged their future for him and they won 8 games that RGIII finished.

Andrew Luck went to a 2-14 team and then went 11-5 without his HC for a portion of the year and made the playoffs as a rookie.

Cam Newton has a higher cap than RGIII and his tough "always keep a bright outlook" attitude even when down 20 points motivates his team to keep fighting. The panthers are lucky to have him.

People are way too emotionally invested in this subject to even begin discussing it and expect people not to be full of shite.

Yeah, whatever would the Colts have done without Andrew Luck's 54.1% and 18 interceptions. Luck and Newton's rookie years were almost similar, only the Colts had a better team. And if you're going to throw out the Colts missing their head coach, make sure you mention that lockout that occured in 2011.

Cam Newton (rookie year)
310/517, 60.0%, 4,051 yards, 21 touchdowns, 17 interceptions

126 carries, 706 yards, 14 touchdowns

Andrew Luck (rookie year)
339/627, 54.1%, 4,374 yards, 23 touchdowns, 18 interceptions

62 carries, 255 yards, 5 touchdowns

You'd take RG3 in a second. He has shown touch that cam does not have.

People really think that Indy was a 2 win team last year. They completely tanked it and didn't win a game until the #1 pick was in the bag

Andrew luck is impressive, but he had far from an earth shattering rookie year

They are two totally different skill sets. Neither had a lot around them this season, RG3 made his team infinitely better. Just look at the shite show the Skins were with Sexy Rexy slinging the ball. Cam's team regressed this year, however there is no doubting the potential he has. His skills are out of this world. On a player to player game playing comparison I think they are really, really close with a slight edge to Cam. But on a career comparison I'll take the player with a better, proven coach and the mindset to handle success... all day, every day.
