I've seen saving private Ryan at least 20 times.

Saving Private Ryan has to be #1

Without a doubt it is the most historically accurate war movie I've ever seen, I like Black Hawk Down but it's been kind of ruined for me because I've worked under, and been around guys who were actually there and they say it's a lot of bullshite.


Act of Valor was really good too just because of the little nuances that were made possible by having real operators in it.

Saving private Ryan was not historically correct unless you are talking about the opening scene and the invasion the rest is fabricated.
Black hawk down is more accurate than we were soldiers. Hell how long have you been in the army to know all these people that were there. It can't be that long because you've never been deployed unless your a nasty girl.

Not talking about the story, more so the little details that usually make anyone in the Military roll their eyes while watching a war movie.

Have not seen pacific but your right band of brothers was bad arse. Main reason I dislike David shwimmer

1st Sgt at batt was a specialist at the time, he came in on the CSAR bird. Plenty that still hang around inside the brown fence.
