LSU Table - Need advice @ TigerDroppings.com

purpngold LSU Fan Member since Jun 2006 1433 posts	LSU Table - Need advice (Posted on 12/28/12 at 5:38 pm) I'm building a table with LSU in the center using 2"x2" ceramic tiles. I cut out the center and will glue the tiles to a separate piece of plywood that I'll attach from the bottom (floating). The tiles will be about an 1/8" from being flush with the oak plywood. I was hoping to pour a thick layer of varnish of the entire surface including the tiles after staining the plywood. What say the OT? Is varnish a good/bad idea over the tiles?
