Yea, I've had that one and I agree. There are holes in the Goose Island lineup for sure. It is only going to get worse I fear now that they are owned by InBev.

rayon vert(i know i know. i just always passed over it for some reason)
12/12/12- had the 11 at the bar the other day and the guy at mathernes said the 12 is better so i picked one up

As long as they keep the barrel aged stuff alone, I don't care about their regular lineup.

Oh yes, too many beers too little time. I think that I am going to go on a "Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi" beer only kick in the new year. That will make things some what easier

Yes. They quadrupled their barrel aging program earlier this year.

Turns out there's a small craft brew selection at Leblanc's right by my place in gonzales.. it's not Calandro's but it's a hell of a lot closer. i need to go check it out

I hope the quality stays the same. I think there is a good chance that InBev is going to frick it up.

Which was the better IPA? I say that Deep Ellum is the best Texas IPA, that I have had the chance to try.

Thirsty Planet Bucket Head gives Deep Ellum a run. But the Live Oak and Austin Beerworks are avg......and had A Jester King El Cedro IPA the.other night that was damn good.
