Signs are out there, a lot of signs, that many are succumbing to Bama as being the better program between LSU-BAMA...

I understand of course, but I also realize this, before the last two games, LSU looked like the team...

I will say though, I thought from the beginning and even now, that LSU was the team to have to play up in the last game. The stars lined up good for LSU:

Home game, bye week when Bama played a physical State who knocked their QB down.. but Bama still won, depsite being outplayed...

It only takes a win next year and LSU is PERCEIVED to be back in the mix...

I mean before the January BCS gaem versus Bama, People were talkign about LSU being the team of the century with 3 titles, now Bama looks to outdue LSUs accomplishments with 3 in 4, and one against us.

Eventhough, I am saying that only the picture has changed in one year (and can change just as easy).. it is crazy though, as close as LSU is to Bama, Bama has the chance to win its 3rd in 4 seasons!!

That is hard to compare, but in regards to selling the program to recruits.. LSU is RIGHT there...

But Bama has to win it!

I was at first thinking Bama will win easily over Notre Dame, but then started to doubt it, and then I started to feel Notre Dame has a chance...

And I also have goen away from my enjoyment of this SEC streak in which last week I would have said that I wanted to see it continue and pulled for Bama to win...

But now, I sit here, and think.... LSU is right there, but no one will think about LSU if Bama wins 3 of 4.... that would be too much to deny....

I think Notre Dame will give them a challenge, and I even am now pulling for Notre Dame....

I much rather welcome Notre Dame back to the table instead of see Bama take this substanstial seat at the NCAA books with LSU being a backdrop...

GEAUX TIGERS!

Depends what you are looking at ... are we looknig at LSU 2012 playing Alabama 2012???...

Then yeah, Bama is really good, but LSU is right there...

WHAT I AM REALLY SAYING IS

It took one year ( to this day practically) to see LSU as playing for its 3rd title, to Bama playing for that honor.... and the perceptions of the programs have changed a lot nationally... Bama is way up, LSU is considered in the mix of the top 5 in the SEC (no longer top 5 nationally, but in the SEC)

BUT, ONE YEAR can again change the perception... LSU can be right there once again EASILY!... we are just looking at the now....

as I mention, Bama still has a game to win....
if they do win, the separation wuld be a bit harder to recognize as it really is.... That these two programs are at the same level, BOTH of THEM!!! as they were August 2011...

Perception is Everything ,but I am illustrating that Perception is not necessarily accurate BUT present.... and an accucurate look at the two it is hard to separate with the opportunity next year.......

If next year falters, than one can then succumb to the idea that Bama has indeed separated itself

perception versus reality...it is percieved by the lions share of people and so called experts that Bama is a better program...

The reality is Bama is playing for their 3rd MNC in 4 years and LSU is having a really good season despite all the destractions and question marks that lingered early on during our season.

The sky is not falling and we are in good shape for the future.

If this is the case.... then making a return trip to the Peach Bowl shouldn't upset anyone.
