Simmons Whitetail Scope on M&P 15-22

Midway has this on sale for $110. I was thinking about picking one up just for the hell of it. Could this be mounted on my new M&P 15-22? I haven't purchased a scope for it yet and I was wondering if it was possible to mount this on rails?

There are probably other brands of scope rings out there that fit that rail as well. I just know leupold makes them.
Weaver rings may fit those rails. Not sure though.

That's what I had to use (the PEPR). My scope was actually touching the rail causing it to bend and not sight properly. It also put the scope in a more relaxed position for my use.

I've got the PEPR mount on one of my ARs with a Bushnell scope and it works fine.
There are a few other mounts similar to the PEPR on Amazon if you are looking to save a few bucks. Probably not as good but may work fine on a 22.
