Holy shite.
Watched this last night and I haven't been that entertained start-to-finish by a movie in a long time. McConaughey crushes it, and shows why he should've been doing more serious acting over the years instead of those awful romcoms.
Basically the story about a family who hires a hitman to kill their mother for insurance money and then everything goes to shite. All the supporting cast (Thomas Haden Church, Emile Hirsch, Gina Gershon) are fantastic and there's one scene with a chicken leg that has to be seen to be believed.
Came out NC-17 so didn't get many theaters, but the Director's Cut that's available to rent now is worth your 100 minutes. If you like dark comedies, this is for you. Check it out.

Good to hear. I almost rented this the other night but the GF didn't want to see it. I'm going to have to check it out on my own. Dark comedies are one of my favorite genres.

I love the scene with the crime boss who gets out of his truck with Strokin by Clarence Carter blasting in the background.
